Family And Sick Leave
With this type of leave, you can take up to 12 weeks of employment-protected leave for an important reason. This may include:
- A critical illness is afflicting you or someone you know.
- Foster care, birth, or adoption.
- A family that has adopted a military member or a family member in active military service.
- Detailed information is provided in the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). More information can be found in the Family and Sick Leave Act.
You are eligible for this type of license if:
- The company employed him for 12 months; and
- A minimum of 1,250 hours were worked in the 12 months preceding the start of the leave.

Short Term Disability
